BACHELOR’S DEGREE STUDIES → Requirements for Passing to the Next Year
1. Grades required for Bachelor’s studies:
1.1 Minimum passing grade in each course – 55.
1.2 Minimum average grade for passing to the next year based on compulsory studies – 60.
1.3 Average grade for the degree – at least 60.
2. A student’s passing to the next year will be approved under the following conditions:
2.1 Successfully passed a computerized safety course by the end of the first year (for students who are required to take this course).
2.2 Achieved a grade of 55 and above in each of the courses.
2.2.1 A student who failed (or was not tested in) one compulsory course in the track to which he belongs is entitled to move up to the next year provided that his average grade in the compulsory courses is 60 and above.
2.2.2 A student who failed (or was not tested in) two compulsory courses in the track to which he belongs is entitled to move up to the next year provided that his average grade in the compulsory courses is 70 and above.
2.2.3 A student who failed (or was not tested in) three courses or more is not entitled to move up to the next year.
2.2.4 A student whose average grade is less than 55 is not entitled to continue studying in the track in which he is registered.
A student who did not meet the passing requirements is entitled to submit a special application to the faculty Teaching Committee together with an appraisal by the head of the teaching program in which he is studying. If his request is not granted he will cease his studies.
It is possible to repeat a year only once and in any case the student will not be permitted to register for more advanced courses during this year.
