9. Usage of computing resources – Usage of the university computing resources, including computers, networks, communication equipment, hardware, software and files (hereinafter “computer”) is subject to the following conditions:
a. Computers will be used only for academic purposes and not for any other purpose.
b. The access authorization code and/or personal password (hereinafter “the code”) is solely for the student’s use. The code should be kept confidential and is not to be transferred to any other person. Students will be personally responsible for every use of their personal code.
c. Usage of the computer is permitted only by means of the code given to the student and not by any other code and/or account.
d. It is strictly forbidden to use the code of another person, to tap into communication lines or to connect in any way to others’ computer resources.
e. Students must use the computer in accordance with the law and university procedures. They must obey the instructions of the university information security officer and other authorized personnel and carry out no action, act and/or omission that may damage the computer, data and/or information stored on it.
f. The university computer must not be used with software copies by illegal means and which came into the user’s possession in any way that breaches copyright law.
g. The university is not responsible to the student in any way for information, software, data and/or anything resulting from usage of the computer and will not be liable for damage and/or loss that may be caused to the student as a result of using the computer.
h. The university computer must not be used for hacking into other systems and/or obtaining unlawful access to them.
i. Breach of this undertaking is a disciplinary offense and may also be a criminal offense.
