For the first time, the Technion was selected this year to host the prestigious competition Falling Walls Lab (to be held on September 3). The Israeli competition is organized in cooperation with the Hebrew University.
Attached is information as well as an invitation to apply. The competition is designed for young researchers (up to age 35) – graduate students and faculty, who have developed a unique concept worthy of being presented to the world.
During the competition, the presenter will have only 3 minutes and a maximum of 3 slides to convey effectively the “message” of his idea or development (a type of TED, but in a shorter time frame). The winners, with financial assistance from the Technion, will attend the world conference in Berlin on November 8, where they will have 15 minutes to present their groundbreaking idea.
