A unique opportunity to paddle a Chinese dragon boat on Lake Kinneret.
This year the “Dragon Boats Flotilla” festival will be held on the Lake Kinneret-Jordan River shore on 28-29 May 2015 and is titled “Paddling towards a Healthier World.”
Dragon boat racing is an ancient sport which originated in China about 2,500 years ago and is now practiced in 80 countries including Israel. Dragon Boat Israel and the Hebrew University have joined forces in a philanthropic partnership and are dedicating the race to raising funds for medical research carried out at the Hebrew University in autism, Alzheimer’s disease and cancer.
Graduates, students, soldiers and athletes are a natural pool of participants for the race, as individuals, families and employees of various companies and organizations. Come and we will encourage you to take part in the race!!
We invite you to join and take part in this activity which is suitable for all ages (age 12 and above) and enjoy a challenging family and social entertainment. Registration has opened!!
