Israel Prize for Research in Economics and Statistics.
We extend warm congratulations to Prof. Sergio Hart from the Department of Economics,
Faculty of Social Sciences, the Einstein institute of Mathematics, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural sciences, and the Federmann Institute for the Study of Rationality, on winning the Israel Prize for Research in Economics and Statistics.
Prof. Hart, a member of the Israeli, European, and American Academies of Arts and Sciences, and a Fellow of the Econometric Society, studies Game Theory. He studies dynamic systems and their convergence to equilibrium, dynamic models of learning, adaptation and evolution with “bounded rationality,” mechanism design, and more.
Prof. Hart is the founder of the Federmann Institute for the Study of Rationality, a unique venture in which faculty, students, and guests join forces to explore the rational basis of decision-making, from a broad sweep of departments.
We wish Prof. Hart good health and our sincere congratulations. We also congratulate the entire community of the Institute of Rationality, that also celebrates the winning of two of its members in the Rothschild Prize earlier this year, a prize also won in the past by Sergio.
